If you check the list of the best skincare ingredients that ever existed, antioxidants will definitely be on it.

Antioxidants counter free radicals (the notorious culprit for ageing) and fade dark spots and scars. We also love that they smoothen fine lines and wrinkles and treat cell damage from within. Antioxidants can also reduce inflammation and boost skin hydration! Simply put, they are the closest we can get to a working fountain of youth. 

But as we said earlier, not all skincare ingredients are made equal: you must know what would work best with your skin. So today, we’ve broken down each antioxidant to help you find the best elixir for your skin type:

Vitamin C
