But there are actually some foods that can actually prevent and/or reduce bloating, so that you don’t have to suffer that uncomfortable feeling in your stomach.
1. Lemon & water!
Diuretic foods, such as lemon, helps your body naturally flush out excess water. While you may think that drinking water will cause you to bloat, adding lemon to your water will increase urination, reducing the effects of bloating.
Studies have shown that eating a proper breakfast in the morning actually helps you to lose weight. Oats consistently rank as one of the best foods to eat when you’re trying to shave off a few pounds. It soaks things up, including the cholesterol in your body. If you’re suffering from water retention, oats are a great way to flush out all that excess water.
Detox teas assist your body in getting rid of toxic waste, improving your digestive system, and cleansing your body all at the same time. To reduce bloating and improve your metabolism, replace your usual cuppa in the morning with a detox tea instead.
4. Go bananas!
Eating bananas curb your appetite and stop you from overeating. And since the fruit is a great source prebiotic fibre (something which helps to feed beneficial gut bacteria, and improve digestion.
5. Say kimchi!
