The Ultimate Beauty Gift Guide This December

December has arrived, and it’s finally beginning to look a lot like Christmas! It’s not the favourite month of the year for lots of people for nothing. Here are my top three reasons for loving December:

  1. School holidays and vacations from work. Need I say more? It’s the month to take the long break you need and deserve, and because everyone is doing it, you don’t have to feel guilty about it!
  1. Decorating the Christmas tree. Red and gold, silver and blue. I get to showcase my creativity and sing some of my favourite Christmas carols while doing it.
  1. Buying Christmas gifts. I looked forward to exchanging and opening my Christmas presents as a child. It’s truly the season of giving!

On that note, just in case you haven’t noticed or had the chance to walk the malls lately (yes, why haven’t you?), the month of Christmas brings extraordinary bargains and gift ideas you would normally not find during the other months of the year. Venture under the cut for my favourite beauty gift picks this Christmas!

Hardy & Co Clear Skin Detox Purifying Mist

Hardy & Co. is a skincare line that is formulated with phyto stem cell extracts. I like to think of it as an “organic” skincare line which provides its users with minimal but essential ingredients in its products to tease out the beauty from within the skin. This Clear Skin Detox Purifying Mist is derived from super antioxidant ingredients (cucumber, mint and basil stem cell extracts,as well as Vitamin B) to promote cellular metabolism and instantly purifies the skin for a clearer and more fresh-faced complexion.

The Sloane Spa Classic Epicuren Facial

Spoiler alert. You will want this for yourself! If you difficulty ‘gifting’ for friends (like the ones I have!) who have everything they can possibly need, try booking them into a pampering spa facial this partying season! Sloane Spa’s award winning Classic Epicuren facial uses patented Epicuren enzymes (touted as “Liquid Gold” of the Epicuren skincare range) to plump and revive tired, dull skin and is suitable for all skin types.

The Sloane Clinic Brilliant Skin Program

Now this gift would be quite the bomb firstly because it isn’t quite the off-the-shelf product you buy, but rather, you are sending your giftee off to his or her journey of permanently transformed, fresh, luminous skin. Designed for those who are bothered by dull and lackluster skin and other skin woes such as enlarged pores, stubborn pigmentation and fine lines, the Brilliant Skin Program uses advanced Fraxel Light microlaser peel technology and LED Red Photomodulation to transform skin without much downtime! Save this for someone special, they will thank you!

Oh and the best reason for loving December? Whatever’s done, we celebrate the end of a year and start over after the end of the month! Happy December and Merry Christmas!
