Should you wear makeup to the Gym?

We’ve all worn makeup to the gym at some point in our lives. (Hey, you’ll never know who you’ll bump into at the gym!) It’s always better to hit the gym bare-faced, but still, there are some days you just don’t want to go out into the world bare-faced.

Here’s how you can look cute at the gym and not suffer from post-gym break outs.

1. Hydrate your skin

As you should never use anything too hydrating or greasy when you’re hitting the gym, invest in a light moisturiser which will keep your skin feeling dewy instead of oily. Quench dehydrated skin cells with pure encapsulated water. This is specially formulated to instantly replenish cellular water without oiliness or shine, this is an oasis for all skin types requiring a water-break sans breakout.

2. Eyebrows on fleek

Even if you have no heavy make up on, minimal, filled-in brows will frame your face and keep you looking put-together. Invest in a waterproof brow mascara which just lightly tints the skin and hold your brows in place.

3. No bold colours

Obviously, you do not want to be wearing bold colours to the gym where you sweat it out. Instead on applying a full-on lipstick, a lip stain would be a better option to give you a gorgeous splash of colour.

For naturally flushed lips, ditch your lipsticks for these natural lip stains. Alcohol-free, these highly versatile, long lasting lip stains double as cheek stains as well – giving you a flushed and healthy look.

4. Sunscreen

5. Wash your face post-gymming
