5 Foods That Help Reduce Bloating

Bloating comes and goes. You might wake up with a flat stomach and be carrying a three-pound food baby by the time you go to bed. The cycle repeats. However, there are actually some foods that can actually prevent and reduce bloating, so that you don’t have to suffer with that uncomfortable feeling in your stomach.

Bloating can be described as the feeling that there is an inflated balloon in the abdomen. It is very uncomfortable and usually, there is nothing that we can do about it, except to wait it out. Consuming some foods can actually reduce the problem.

1. Lemon and water

This is something which i swear by every morning. Diuretic foods, such as lemon, may help your body naturally release some of the water it’s holding onto to reduce your symptoms. While you may think that drinking water will cause you to bloat, adding lemon to your water will increase urination, helping flush water from your system.

2. Oats

Do you know that instead of trying to lose weight by skipping breakfast, you might be unconsciously be gaining weight instead? Studies show that eating a proper breakfast in the morning helps in losing weight. Not only that, it helps in concentrating better. Oats consistently rank as one of the best foods to eat when losing weight. It is a food that soaks things up, the way it soaks cholesterol up. Oats can also give you relief if you’re retaining water.

3. Teatox

Tea for detox assists your body to get rid of toxic waste which helps to improve digestive system, detoxify and cleanse the body, and help you to reach your health/weight loss goals. 4. Go bananas

Wonder how Koreans maintain their streamlined bodies? The answer lies in their everyday diet – kimchi! Kimchi helps carbohydrate metabolism to aid you in losing weight. The fiber content present in kimchi also keeps your body full and hunger satisfied for a longer duration preventing you from frequent and over eating.
