Bright eyes are the key to looking more awake in the morning. If you don’t want to spend too much effort in applying complicated eye make-up in the morning, here are some tips and tricks that you can use to tackle droopy, sleepy eyes and look you’ve already had that 2nd cup of coffee.
1. Coat those lashes
A coat of mascara is a no-brainer for us ladies who want to make our eyes look brighter and more lifted in the morning. Curled lashes improves your overall look, making you seem that you added in that bit of effort into your make-up in the morning when really, it’s just mascara. A drugstore brand that I like to use is the Maybelline Lash Sensational. Affordable and does just the trick.
2. Highlight your brow bone
This is a holy grail product that I swear by. Not only does it conceal your blemishes instantly, it also adds a natural shine to your make your skin extra glowy. Swipe this on areas that you would normally highlight on your face and also on your brow bone for instant awake eyes. I usually blend with the warmth of my fingers to melt the products nicely and gently into my skin.
3. Fillers for temples and upper eyelids
For a more permanent solution to reduce sunken eyes, this specialised technique fills up sunken temples and highlights flattened brows so that upper eyelids look lifted, giving eyes a more open appearance instantaneously.
It gives a similar effect to highlighting your brow bone, except that you do not need to fuss with a highlighter every day.
