Laid back Beauty: 5 Beauty Hacks Every Girl Should Know

You don’t have to spend hours in front of a mirror to get your makeup perfect. We’ve got you covered.

1. Conceal, not cake

If you’re too lazy to apply a full foundation coverage, simply conceal the areas where you need it. Conceal acne or problem areas with a green base concealer and a pink based concealer for your dark under-eye circles.

If you do not have a pink-based concealer, a quick trick is to simply dab a red lipstick under your concealer!

Like green concealer, pink works to neutralize the dark blue or purplish areas on your face, such as dark circles or spots.

2.  Is blush the new eyeshadow?

Feeling extra hardworking today? Brush some powder over your face to make yourself look instantly alive. Use the same colour for your cheeks and eyelids to create a consistent look that would make you look awake and well put-together.

3. Greasy hair? Yikes!

Sometimes, there’s just no time to wash and shampoo your hair especially on late nights and early mornings. What’s the best alternative? Dry shampoo! Of course, not all of us have dry shampoo lying around, but here’s a better way! Baking soda. Instead of spending tons of money on dry shampoo, sprinkle a little baking soda at the root and tousle your hair. The result is the same for a fraction of the cost.

4.  Eyeliner on fleek

Hands up, whose eyeliner turns out differently every single time on both eyes? Well here’s the trick for those who have yet to master the art of eye lining. Use a spoon. Seriously. It works better and turns out more natural than say, a card.

5. Mask the night away

Why mask in the morning when you can do it overnight? Invest in some hydrating overnight masks that will repair your skin while you rest!

Sleeping Peel is an oil-free Aloe Vera Gel with Glycolic Acid is very beneficial for non-sensitive, normal to oily, and blemished skin types. It effectively helps to fight bacteria and increases the rate of natural dead skin exfoliation, while helping to promote moisturization by renewal of native skin collagen.
